This Realisation Changed The Way I Work
Have you ever been pushing so hard to make something work and no matter what you do, it just doesn’t happen? And the moment you step away and forget about it for a little while, a simple and brilliant idea strolls into your mind and suddenly everything falls into place.
Design is like that for me.
“Brands designed in a day” or “design intensives” are wildly popular right now within the design community. Faster turnaround! More profit! Instant gratification!
I will never offer one of these services.
That’s not to say that there’s anything wrong with them — for the right designer and the right client they might be perfect. But my methodology takes time.
I need time for the creative process to unfold. To try 12 subpar ideas before I land on the right one. For your business goals to seep into the recesses of my consciousness. To explore who your most aligned customers are so that I can better design for them.
All of this takes time, and I would never be able to do my best work if I designed a brand in a day or even a week.
I also believe that my clients benefit from a more spacious pace. Time for you to process your thoughts and suggestions. For you to get the clarity on your business direction that is so often required when embarking upon a branding process.
My design philosophy is about deep work rather than quick work. The average turnaround time for a branding project with me is 6 weeks.
If you’ve been dreaming of having a brand that is both beautiful and intentional, I’d invite you to fill out the form here to express your interest and I’ll be in touch.
